Creating Abundance And The Awareness Of The Law Of Repulsion

In the area of creating abundance most of the attention is given to the Law of Attraction. Another law is the Law of Repulsion. I first learned about it when I read How to Solve All of Your Money Problems Forever. Victor Boc, the author, makes the promise stated in the title without a second thought.

The Law of Repulsion is based on a simple premise but very insightful. Many people use the practices of the Law of Attraction without success and wonder what’s wrong. They think the law isn’t working instead of questioning how their behaviors aren’t working. Boc’s teaching of the Law of Repulsion makes perfect sense.

If we can attract something to us, doesn’t it make good sense that we can also repulse it? Naturally, that does make sense, but you’re asking yourself, if you really want something, why would you push it away. By jove, that’s a great question. The answer is that the repulsing occurs for the most part subconsciously.

If something was not stopping the attracting process then all people would have everything they are desiring. Unfortunately, that is not the case. In fact, the majority of people do not attract what they want.

That is when the Law of Repulsion comes into effect. We are capable of sending  confusing messages to the Universe. I desire lots of money, but I also think only greedy people make lots of money. I want people to respect me but I don’t respect myself. I want to be as thin and beautiful as the top models, but I don’t take care of my body.

The piece of the equation that effects this dynamic is the amount of energy that goes into each belief? Does the positive piece receive the most energy or the negative part? It is that simple. Remember that all life is energy. When the positive receives more energy, it is attracting and when the negative is receiving the most it is repelling.

This process is very profound. When we measure with numbers, the best case situation is 100% pulling in and 0% repelling. Neutral is 50/50. We can say that you must pull something to you with a minimum of 51% of the energy. That would be the worst case scenario in attracting. So, the difference is a mere 1% between attracting and repulsing.

Fortunately, we can overcome 1%. How do we do that? We  look at the positives and negatives of what we desire. We make an adjustment in what we do. Is it too simple?

I think we have a tendency to make life hard. We are programmed in so many ways to think we must work hard to have something. That’s how the saying, work smart not hard, came to be.

“It’s not worth having if you don’t work for it.” Tell that to the latest lottery winner. Please don’t misunderstand me. I’m not saying we don’t have to put energy into what we want, but it really can be simple.

Simple is not the same as easy. Einstein had a wonderful quote, “Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler.”

Are you wondering what you’re going to do with this information? Awesome question and here’s an equally great answer. First off, relax with it. Awareness is the first step toward change. Think about something you’ve desired but have not attracted into your reality. Is the Law of Repulsion operating in some way? Make a change remembering that the change could be as small an adjustment as 1%!

Should the change require a bigger  degree, let’s say 49%, do not let it overwhelm you. This is an appropriate time to remember that baby steps are what you need. Be sure to be gentle with yourself and give yourself credit for every step you make toward your desire. When it comes to creating abundance there are two laws, the Law of Attraction and the Law of Repulsion. Use both to your advantage!

Creating Abundance By Changing Your Money Messages

Are you wondering why you’re experiencing a lack of money? Are you asking yourself, “Why is there never enough money?” Do you know that you are most often operating from subconscious money messages from your past that influence your actions today? Creating abundance is so doable when you look at your money messages.

Your money beliefs are caused by the money messages you inherited from your past – both conscious and subconscious. Why do I say inherited? A majority of your money messages were inherited from the people in your life who had the greatest effect on you while you were growing up. Perhaps it was your parents, a grandfather, a favorite aunt, a sister,  an educator, or your Sunday school teacher.

In many cases, they didn’t pass these money messages on to you intentionally. They inherited them from adults in their past just like you did and passed them on to you more than likely on a subconscious level. No problem if the money message was of a positive nature. However, a large percent might have been of a negative nature

Because these people were authority figures or role models, you did not question the content of the message. You just took it on like a piece of fine jewelry handed down from one generation to the next. The good news is that you can turn all of the negative messages around once you become consciously aware of what they are, make a decision that they no longer serve you and take steps to change your attitude around each specific money message.

Although we often hold some of the same money messages, this is your journey. I can give you but you will need to discover for yourself what messages operate in your life. Then you can decide which ones can remain or must be eliminated for you to attract financial abundance.

The following are examples of common money messages.

Money doesn’t grow on trees.

There’s never enough.

Rich people are greedy.

Get an education and a job, and you are secure for life.

You can’t be rich and spiritual.

“It’s easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than a rich man to get into heaven.”

Women never make what men make in the same position.

Think about the money messages that have been directing your actions in creating your current financial circumstances of scarcity. Because of the importance of this reflection, set aside time when you will not be distracted. Take as much time as you need. In fact, this process might be like peeling away layers. You address one money message only to reveal one, two or more other money messages lying under the surface that had been covered over by the initial money message.

Begin journaling – choose an attractive journal or create a simple one using a 3 ring binder. An a necessary part of this process is writing down your ideas. By journaling you bring your mental energy into the realm where you are attracting. If you leave them in your mind, they remain elusive. The act of writing makes them solid and managable.

Now you have the information that will make creating abundance in your life a natural event!

Remember…

Abundance Is Your Birthright!

Creating Abundance With A Balanced Life

There is a British author named Rumer Godden. One of her books is titled A House with Four Rooms. It is her autobiography and the title is taken from an Indian proverb. The four rooms are a metaphor for the four parts of our life. I want to offer a quote from her book that lays the groundwork for this article on creating abundance with a balanced life.

“Everyone is a house with four rooms, a physical, a mental, an emotional and a spiritual. Most of us tend to live in one room most of the time but unless we go into every room every day, even if only to keep it aired, we are not a complete person.”

I find the part about airing each room every day especially important. It’s easy to write about having this balance but putting it to work in our life especially on a daily basis, now that is another story. First off (I’m beginning to write as if I’m British…isn’t that tricky!), defining those four areas is essential so that you’re understanding what I mean.

The physical is straight forward. Each of us is moving around in a physical body. Some feel it is a blessing and even call it a temple. Yet others feel it is a disadvantage and still others ignore it with abusive behavior, believing there are no effects from their actions.

The mental is our mind. Be aware that I did not say our brain because I think that our brain is a magnificent body part that is the receptor for our mind. In either  event, the mental is our thoughts.

The emotional is our feelings. This is the part of our life that includes all of our personal feelings as well as the social aspects of our life such as our relationships. We can further break down our relationships into all of the wonderful categories such as romantic or platonic.

The spiritual body is that piece of us that taps into the Divine however we choose to call it and however we wish to define it. This body is perhaps the must elusive to describe because it is so personal and private. It is also so diverse. On a spectrum we have atheists to religious zealots and everyone in between.

Although those are very brief descriptions I think that you have the essence of what I’m referring to. Now let’s look at ways in which we can act in the four areas. In the physical the choices are huge. We can care for the body through diet and exercise. The mental is used through challenging our minds through education. The emotional is engaged through building our relationships. The spiritual can be through a practice of prayer.

Now that we know the what and the how, the when and the where are further decisions. Godden is recommending that the when be daily. That doesn’t mean that we have to do the same activity every day although we could, if it pleases us, but rather that we do one activity in each area every day.

The where, well, this is probably the easiest part of the whole equation. For if you have figured out all the rest, the where will just fall naturally into place.

In order to follow this recommendation, we clearly have to believe it is important. Then we have to make a commitment to follow through. Sounds so simple on paper, yes? I assure you it is not. Otherwise, you and I would have accomplished it and certainly ascended by now. Nope, we’re still here working on it in this wonderful thing we call life.

So what to do? Start with one area and add an activity that you desire to your day. Make it simple and joyful. Make it something you really, really want to do on a regular basis. Then with each success add another something until your life is balanced. The goal is to move toward balance or at least more balance than when you began.

Oh, food for thought. There might be more rooms in our house than Godden thought. In the transpersonal field there are at least two more rooms. On your journey of creating abundance, you can create any room that is special for you!
