Switching Your University Degree

Deciding on a college degree is perhaps one of the most important decisions you make in life. Some people are blessed enough to know what they want and to have the guts to go for it. Sorry to say, there are those who won’t have the same encounter. This is one of the explanations why people shift to another degree.

09.06.2011 Houston, TX – Victoria Patterson changed her college degree from Biology to Journalism. “There was very little doubt that I was miserable with biology. I came to the decision to give writing a try after I talked to the university counselor and to my numerologist. I came to the decision to make the change in my second year in college. It turned out ok in the end, but I had to make adjustments. I am incredibly happy with what I have now.” Patterson also advocates a visit to the web site www.numerologist.com.

When it comes to these things, there’s a philosophy I follow called the Rule of 3. Before I decide I want it or not, I let myself to try something out for no less than 3 times, 3 days, 3 weeks, 3 months, et cetera. You see, it can be that what you are feeling is just a nervous reaction to your new life in college. It might be that you are a bit terrified or even home sick and you may think that an adjustment is the only way to go.

You should allow yourself time to calm down. I advise giving your degree a 3 month trial period. By the end of that time, you may be more acclimated to school. You may already have a set of friends. You may even find that you enjoy your degree much more. You can alway change courses if you find that is not true for you, you can always change degrees.

You should list down some of what makes you happy or unhappy about your current course; ask yourself why you really want a change. Then you should start on a list of options. List down the ups and downs for each one. Later on, this is going to be what helps you determine on what alternative you should choose. You can also decide to use certain tools like numerology and a Life Path calculator that will help you out. You may be astonished at the things that a personal numerology name can reveal about who you are and what you are made to do. You also can go to a numerologist to help determine your readings for numbers.

You can visit the university counselor once you have your alternatives. They will be able to provide you with a look at some of the courses you have listed down. Be sure you talk to them, they are there to help and they can enable you to find the right one. Talk to your dad and mom about your decision too. It can be a really hard decision to start, but it is necessary.

How is this going to influence the chances that you are going to get a great job? Not that much really, especially if you made the choice early on and if you can defend your decisions.

What Degree Would Need To You Take In College?

The only significant respond to this is that it should be something you love. Now, it is understandable that at this point in your life, you won’t know what you actually similar to. In reality, many people won’t realize where their true passions lie until they are in their mid-20s or even much later on in life. So, if you are feeling lost currently, don’t worry, just take a deep breath and realize that the reply is will come to you. If it does not happen organically, here are some tips that can help you choose the appropriate college degree.

05/17/2011 Seattle, WA – Jason Frederickson just made the resolve to swap careers, he shared his experience with us. “I really need to state that it had been the scariest thing I ever did. I mean, I went from a steady job that had a six-figure salary to having my own organization. I am one of the blessed ones but the road to finding success was not really the smoothest.” Frederickson was also one of those who were there for the launch of the website – http://www.numerologist.com/articles/uncategorized/astrology-birth-charts/.

There are lots of things that people would do to help discover what they are meant to do in life, for some this can include astrology birth charts. There definitely are more than enough career tests around that tell people what they must be doing in college. I took such a test in high school, wholly ignored the results, and went down a different path. Of course it turned out to be the wrong path it made me sad, and now I am in a job that the career test I was likely to do well in, who knew it was right on the money?

I am not saying though that these assessments should rule your life. Mine worked because it picked out my skills that I was not aware of. The best you could do with these results is not ignore them is to consider them. You will not really would have to follow it to the letter, after all they are just suggestions. But, it is important not to discard them fully either.

As mentioned your choices should be according to what you adore. For some people, this will not even be an option because they really need to be doing something that is will make them some money. Take your time, figure out what you need in your life and always take into consideration that making money is not always everything. Also, it is very important to understand that some of the richest people around the world got like that because they followed what their passions were.

There is no need to hurry here, you would need to not be rushing into something that you are not certain about. Take your time, determine what you want to do, determine what is will make you happy. Read books that also help you or you may also refer to your astrology birth charts. Take a gap year if you seem that it will help you decide. Live life to the fullest and unearth where you are the happiest.

Reputable Online Schools

When you’re looking for accredited online schools, there are several things that you need to watch out for. The lure of quality distance education is a powerful one, and so there are many schools out there that are not what they seem. When registering for an online degree or diploma program, you want to make sure to only be registering with accredited online schools. Don’t be afraid to investigate and make sure that their accreditation is genuine before you give them any of your money or information. The best online schools are going to be happy to be open with you about their accreditation and their credentials, and will be easy to reach and deal with on a customer service level. If you encounter a company where it seems to be very difficult to speak to a real person with any real information about the school, you might want to watch out.

Another good indicator to help you find good accredited online schools is to look instead for online programs offered by schools which also exist as real universities or colleges in the real world. Even some of the best schools in the country offer online programs, but when you register in an online program with one of these schools you know what you are getting into and avoid any unpleasant surprises happening down the road, such as the school that exists online suddenly closing, something which has happened to people in the past.

The best distance college programs are those which have a lot of readily available information to back them up. If you can’t easily find real reports from students who have obtained degrees or diplomas from the school or from employers who have hired graduates, you may need to beware. It is too bad to say that you need to use such extreme caution when looking for a school on the internet, but the simple fact is that the level of enforcement of many business practices on the internet is sketchy at best, and there are many people out there who are trying to take advantage of the unwary consumer. One way to do this has always been the offering of online degrees or programs. If a program seems like it shouldn’t be online, is too cheap, or can be completed too quickly, remember, that things that appear too good to be true, usually are. Do you homework first, and avoid getting burned later on.
