What is a Gum Graft

If you have discovered that you have receding gums, then there are a number of methods you will be able to turn to. One of those methods is known as a gum graft. Today, it seems as if the gum graft has gained a lot of popularity. What is a gum graft? Well, it is a dental procedure that can be done in order to replace those receding gums.

One other side effect of gum disease is that you could get bad breathe

What causes recession of gums? Well, there are a number of things that can cause this problem. When you brush your teeth more than needed, this can cause recession of gums. Some other factors that could cause gum recession include periodontal disease.

What exactly do gum grafts do? A gum graft will be using either hard or soft tissue, depending on the location in order to restore that gum line. We must add that recovering from gum grafts can be a bit on the painful side. You will need to allow some time for the gum to heal.

Tip: A portable portable oral irrigator is a device that may help you maintain good oral hygiene while travelling.

You may have also heard of gum grafts as gingival as this is the dental terminology that is used. Gingival mucosa will be flexible, yet soft tissue. Keratinized gingival will be made out of harder material as it has been designed to protect the roots. Whenever the gums start to recede, the soft tissue is generally the one that disappears first.

Tip: Using a Hydro Floss Oral Irrigator may help to reduce plaque build up between office visits.

If you catch this early, you will be able to get this process done with the soft tissues. The soft tissue graft is going to restore the gum line. If the dentist finds that the gums have deeply receded, then you may need to have a connective tissue graft done. Connective tissue grafts will be using firmer gingival, which will be protecting those fragile areas of your teeth.

Your Breath Could Be Hoding You Back…

Some people cannot seem to escape bad breath and that is unfortunate. Perhaps a little bit of understanding can go a long way towards defeating this problem.

The problem is a bit complicated actually. A lot depends on the kind of bacteria that are in your mouth as well as your diet. This is in addition to the anatomy of your mouth, in particular, your tongue.

The real problem is the amount of Volatile Sulfur Compounds that bacteria in your mouth produce. Therefore, the solution is in reducing their ability to to produce VSCs or in reducing the population of bacteria that create these compounds in the first place.

Oxygenated mouthwash may be helpful. You can get mouthwash that is oxygenated with a therabreath coupons .

Of course, the use of a tongue scraper is something that can help to remove the build of debris over the tongue that permits the VSC producing bacteria to grow in numbers.

Some prefer a more natural choice and turn to essential oils to fight the germs that cause bad breath. One brand is called ora-md.

In any case, taking action is key. I think you will agree that it is worth it in order to escape breath problems. Let’s face it, stale breath effects our personal and professional life.

One study showed that the greatest concentration of odor causing bacteria was on the back regions of the tongue. Here is where you want to concentrate your efforts. with the tongue scraper.  You could also try Aktiv K-12 Probiotics.

One of the particularly difficult issues with bad breath is that we ourselves have difficulty detecting our own bad breath. This is because our nose gets use to it. However, others do notice and we need others to let us know sometimes.

Maybe you could choose a good friend or trusted companion and ask one of them to keep you informed about your own breath situation.

With a bit of work on a regular basis you can win the fight against problem breath.

Review of Therabreath Product Line

This is a review of the Therabreath products. I have personally used them and find them to be quite good.

The premise of the products is their potent oxygenated compounds. Oxygenated componds help to eliminate the bacteria that don’t like oxygen. These same bacteria may cause bad breath, gingivitis and other dental health problems.

Many of the therabreath products come in various forms such as mouthwash, gum and toothpaste. I have utilized the Perio-Therapy mouthwash and toothpaste as well as a special oxygen serum. What I like to do is add the oxygen serum drops to my hydrofloss before using it on my teeth and gums.

The benefits to this way of doing things seems very evident. Although it seemed real to be, I know that this is really a subjective observation that others may not agree with.

As with any other type of product line, there are coupons and you can receive therabreath coupons at the therabreathcoupon.com site. Using some of these coupons is as good as getting a therabreath discount.

You can find multiple ways to benefit from the therabreath products. The founder of this product line has demonstrated in public how powerful his oxygenated mouthwashes are. For example, he bit into an onion and tested his breath using a halimeter ( a device for determing the level of bad breath you have). This did, as you might imagine, create a very high reading on the halimeter.

He was able to show that the halimeter’s findings were much less after using the mouthwash on himself. This was certainly a great demonstration of the power of these products.

You should be advised that the United States Food and Drug Administration has not evaluated any statements about any products in this article. If you have or think you might have any type of oral health problem or any other health problem, visit with your doctor or dentist for advice, diagnosis and treatment.  This article does not intend to offer advice, it is for information purposes only.
