Steps To Achieving Your Personal Goals

We all have goals but some people are more aware of their goals than others. The first step of achieving your personal goals is to articulate them clearly. No matter what your goal is, whether it is learning how to break 80 consistently in your golf game or whether it is get along better with people at work, you must be able to clearly envision your goals. Vision is the first step.

Any personal training program needs a plan. Without a plan you will be lost. Find your quiet place. Your quiet place is some place where you will not be disturbed. It is a place where you can sit and day dream. Picture in your mind doing the things that you dream to do. Watch it like a movie and you are the star of your own movie.

It is sort of like watching a movie, with you as the leading character. Be aware of all the feelings that you would have. It is almost a dream state. It may take some practice but go to your quiet place everyday. Practice will make perfect.

After you have visualized, make a to do list of detailed steps you must take to live that movie in your brain. You want to make that movie a reality. This to do list will be your checklist that will guide you. Follow this list, checking each incremental step off as you accomplish it. The to do list will be your detailed plan on achieving your goals.

To motivate you, give yourself rewards along the way. Give yourself some rhodium plated jewelery or a piece of expensive clothing. These gifts to yourself are important in sustaining your motivations.

It is common to experience temporary setbacks as you work your plan. You can count on this. Do not let the set backs discourage you. Take a deep breath and keep working your plan. If necessary you may have to revise your plan. Go to your quiet place and revise if you have to.

There is no goal that you can not achieve but they will not happen if you do not plan. Become aware of your inner goals. Visualize your life living your goals. Construct your to do list to make them a reality. Live your happiness.
