Accept the fact that we cannot rely too much on our memories.

The human mind is exposed to a hurricane of information every day. As a result the mind does a very nice filtering process and very little of what we see and hear is retained in our minds. So instead of depending on our very selective memory, an improvement would be to depend on a piece of paper instead.

Carry a tiny scribbling pad and a pen with you all the time.

The moment you fix an appointment or are asked to attend a meeting, improve yourself by jotting it down in the scribbling pad. Do not bother about others laughing at you. You will have the last laugh in the end.

Possibilities And Law Of Attraction Relationships

There exists a philosophical standard; one that is by no means accepted by all philosophers, that the thing that we call reality is in fact nothing more than our thoughts of whatever it is that may exists. The argument runs along the lines of, the world is what we think it is, and what we think it is may or may not have a thing to do with what it actually is. This is ephemeral thinking, yes, yet becomes apparent in law of attraction relationships.

There are as many different types of relationships in our lives as there are people to describe them. Relational realities exist between every thing and every other thing in relation to it. It can be argued that nothing of value can even exist unless it is in relation to some other thing. While difficult to determine, there is something to be sought in this wisdom.

People, too, are defined in this very same way. You are who you are, but this also means you are who you are not. We usually couch this idea in terms of what type of person you are, or what your personality is like, or on physical attributes ad so forth. We do this without thinking about most of the time.

Understanding this, then, look at it from the standpoint of doing this social adjusting on a conscious level. How would you behave, and who would you be, if you made an overt effort at this becoming? The answer to this question may well define your true self. This true self will be an actualized self in the long run, or it would be hoped so.

Now take this one step further. Who would the people you interact with be if you could choose to create that stage? What sort of people would you intentionally attract? The answer to this question, too, will point to the essence of your truest sense of self.

Considering then, these people whom you attract, and the person whom you would choose to become, can it be argued that these individuals can be coerced into existence by the summoning of them mentally? Can we draw to us those whom we are truly interested in and deem attractive to ourselves?

Admittedly, the law of attraction relationships may seem a bit far-fetched at first glance. But upon further ponderings, the potentiality seems to be, if not actually possible, then at least enticingly probable. If we could indeed attract what we truly desire in this life, what an incredible life this could be.

Signs That A Job No Longer Works

Sometimes getting a new job is no longer the answer. We jump at the point in our lives when a job no longer satisfies us. Working for someone else doesn’t work any longer. It’s as if we have outgrown working for someone else. This is a challenging realization and one that almost every entrepreneur comes to admit. We want more, but how do we know for sure? How do we even contemplate leaving the workforce? Here are 6 signs to let you know that you’re moving on, maybe not today, or tomorrow, but sometime in the future, you will be ready. You have a yearning that won’t leave. In my small business seminars I have asked participants, how many of you have had a yearning? Almost all would raise their hands.

You dream about being a business owner. You might even have told friends or family about your business ideas. Sometimes you see your idea is now a business that someone else is running. You are working for the paycheck? This is another tell-tale sign that the money is not enough. When we get to the point that the paycheck is the main reason we are working, we are getting close to the realization that this job, and perhaps any job, is no longer the answer. You don’t know what business you would start, even if you started one. This is very common and is one of the main reasons people don’t leave their job. What I suggest is that you start an idea. Once you open yourself to your ideas, they will continue to flow to you. It doesn’t seem to matter how good a job is, how nice your office is or how big the paycheck is, sooner or later you get that feeling this isn’t it.

Positive Thinking Tips To Get Your Through The Day

It’s no secret that keeping a positive mental attitude is important in life.  Here are three optimistic thinking tips that will keep your spirits up during difficult situations.  It’s not easy to stay optimistic , when life don’t go the way you planned or hope for.

The very first of my positive thinking tips is to get in the pattern of asking yourself the right questions.  What do I mean by this?  Well, our state of mind is for the most part controlled by the questions we ask ourselves on a regular basis.  Not convincing enough for you? Just watch your own thoughts for an hour or so.  The problem is that most people ask themselves poor questions.  Things like “Why does this always happen to me?” or “Why does my life have to be so complicated?”  These kinds of questions are based on the assumption that bad situations alway happens to you and that life is tough.  Beliefs like these will only reaffirm this to you and becomes a self fullfilling prophecy.

What if instead, you started asking yourself questions that were more resourceful and more optimistic?  Maybe things like “How did I get to be so fortunate?” or “What can I be excited about today?”  These reinforce more positive beliefs into your mind and enable you stay positive.  It will take some work at first to accept these beliefs (after all, you’ve thought the old beliefs for so long), but the results will be more than worth it..

Another one of my positive thinking tips is to start keeping a gratitude journal.  This could be as convenient as keeping a little notebook by your bed and writing down everything you are thankful for that occurred to you that day.  Just jot down a page or a certain number of things that you are grateful for in your life.  What you write down can be as simple as “I’m thankful I woke up this morning” or “I’m thankful it was a sunny and beautiful day”.  I remember once I wrote down “I am grateful I caught the bus to work just in time today” and then the next day I wrote “I am grateful I missed the bus because it gave me time to read the newspaper in a cafe while I waited for the next bus.”  If you apply this into your every day life, you will start to look at life with an optimistic attitude, helping you stay more positive.

The last of my positive thinking tips is to jot down what you want in your life  to transpire.  Make sure you write down every single detail.  When I did this I practically wrote 10 pages about each and every possible detail you can imagine of.  I was very descriptive of all the places I wanted to travel and live, how much money I made, and who I wanted to spend it with.  Doing this may take some time, but it will make you feel so excellent and so determined to make your aspirations come true, that I firmly recommend you find the time to give it a shot.

Go along with these easy tips and soon you see that your outlook about life will change for the better.  And based on that foundation of positive thinking, you can effortlessly work amazing things in your life and achieve things that you never thought were possible..

LEARNING LIFE LESSONS

How is this for a little life lesson….the only difference between TRY and TRIUMPH is a little ‘umph’?

Inspirational quotes often get people thinking about the realities of their own lives, where they’re headed and where they actually want to be.  But as we all well know, there’s a yawning gap between wanting to do something and actually doing it.  While there’s a will, there’s not always a way.

And that may be behind the rapid and extensive growth of the life coaching industry.  More and more people are turning to professional life coaches to help them realise their potential and make it happen.  Coaches are trained professionals who can assist individuals, groups and whole organisations to translate their intentions into realities.  Just as sports players need a coach to improve and refine their game, coaches can help people be better at …. well, life.

It may be that you want motivation to lose weight, or get out of a rut at work.  Do you need help firing up your sales team to reach their targets or perhaps you need the courage simply to fire them?.  Maybe your executive team is performing really well at work, but their personal relationships are taking a battering because of their stress levels, their work/life imbalance or their difficulties with interpersonal relationships.  Maybe it’s about converting new business opportunities into realities.  Or perhaps it is more about personal challenges and learning to be better at your own life.

Most of us strive to improve, but it’s not always possible on our own.  Teaming up with an executive coach or life coach gives people the ability to truly achieve and overcome life’s challenges.

Not everyone is comfortable with the idea of opening up to a stranger.  Some people may feel vulnerable and exposed.  But a Western Australia life coaching industry professional, Derek Haayema, says it’s imperative that people acknowledge their weaknesses in order to excel.

Haayema speaks from years of experience working with top state sports teams, companies and individuals to create a winning focus.  He says : “Working with a coach has many benefits, including increased clarity of a person’s visions, ability to identify, tackle and prepare for obstacles and ultimately start and maintain the journey of personal motivation and inspiration to achieve success”.

And it’s not only adults who can benefit from working with a coach.  A scholar who has challenges with schoolwork or motivation could benefit from working with a coach.

Take a look at some of the outcomes that can be achieved when working with a life coach or Perth corporate coach :

·         Increased clarity of short, medium and long-term visions and goals

·         Face up to challenges with resolve and commitment

·         Once challenges are identified, learn how to prepare for them

·         Goal-setting within realistic time frames

·         Learn to identify strengths and weaknesses and what resources are available

·         Improved focus and performance

·         Ability to network better

·         Identify opportunities

·         Personal and professional growth

Here’s another nugget of wisdom to think about – “experience is a tough teacher because you get the test first and the lesson afterwards.  And that’s why coaches have become so popular – people can learn from their vast and valuable experience in order to excel.
